How does a haircare brand share their expert heritage in a voice authentic to it's audience? You ask your consumers what they think. This is what we did with Root Awakening product users. The resulting content demonstrated how the women take their expert stylists’ advice and adapt it into what they know of their own hair.
The video blogger outreach program activated influential beauty content creators and their communities. We provided Root Awakening fans products and asked them to review. We let them be themselves and create content in their own styles for their communities. Through the John Frieda youtube channel fans could see the videos. Ton of videos, millions of views, all in an authentic voice.
The Vlogger program was reinforced by connecting within John Frieda’s branded social platforms. Further continuity and integration was delivered by email, sampling/coupon programs and brand site content.
In the "Favorite Cleanser Face-Off" 8 cleaners faced off. You voted. One winner emerged.
